The Texas State Board of Pharmacy is pleased to partner with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Dallas Field Division to bring this pharmacy-oriented continuing education program to Texas pharmacy professionals. The symposium offers three (3) hours (0.3 CEUs) of CE approved by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy for license renewal. This program may be counted toward the requirement of prescribing and monitoring controlled substances as outlined by Board rule 295.8 for pharmacists and toward Texas-specific pharmacy laws or rules for pharmacy technicians per Board rule 297.8.

This program will be offered twice to allow for attendee schedules, as follows:

9am to 12pm CST both days
If you'd like to attend, you only need to register for one of the sessions. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who wish to attend both days to view the program twice may do so, but this requires two separate registrations and payments. Credit may only be claimed for one of the sessions attended, as a program may only be counted once toward license renewal in a single license period.
