Who can attend this program?

The program is geared toward pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, but anyone interested may register and attend the DEA/TSBP Virtual Pharmacist Opioid Symposium.

NOTE: The registration form is specific to Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) licensees and registrants; users without a TSBP-issued license/registration may not be able to enter a different license number exactly.

Can I watch this program on demand?

No—currently, the program must be attended live during one of the two sessions offered.

Can I count this program as CE?

This program is approved for Texas license and registration renewal for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. This program is not accredited by other entities, so licensees not licensed through the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) will need to check with their respective licensing board(s) to determine if this program is acceptable for renewal.

PHARMACISTS & PHARMACY TECHNICIANS: Please note that program is not ACPE accredited so it will not be reported to the CPE Monitor. Your certificate of completion will serve as proof of CE for your Texas renewal.

Can I get a copy of the presentation slides?

Portions of the presentation slides are not authorized by their respective owners to be shared, but a list of resources discussed and presentation slides with sharing permissions will be available for download on our website here.

How do I get my certificate?

Please allow 5 — 7 business days for attendance to be processed. Once attendance has been processed, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log back into your Lifelong Learning Account and complete the post-program survey. Upon completion of the survey, your certificate will be automatically generated, and you can download a copy and/or print a copy for your records.
